During a sightseeing trip, I stopped into this shop with my baby to stay warm (and to sample the local chai!). So yummy! I got the "royal b****" was a chai latte with rose and cardamom. So so so good! I had a lovely conversation with the barista about what local life was like and the pros and cons of bend. I accidentally tipped her way too little (this is what happens when distracted by a baby!) so I definitely made a point to come back later that day to say hi again and tip more, the place was that good! The orange cranberry scone was also delightful and I didn't look too much but their little gift shop seemed cute.

As we navigate our way through the delightful streets of Bend we stumbled across Bluebird Coffee. As we entered we were greeted with a smile from the barista with the incredible earrings. I love odd flavors in my lattes and Emma rolled with me right into a delicious latte proposal. She suggested the Bee-sting which included honey and cayenne. I love my spice so I said hell yes. Then I mentioned adding cinnamon and she agreed completely.
While the latte was being created, we walked around and enjoyed the establishment. Lots of little cute things to buy from funny socks and artwork, to coffee and books. Grab a seat on the couches or enjoy the friendly conversation with Emma.
Coffee ready!! Once she handed me this latte to try my tastebuds were in complete joy. A perfect combination of flavors.
Thank you to Emma for starting my morning off with delight. She makes this review 5 stars versus a 4. Customer service is the only way to reach 5 stars and she killed it. -

They have an awesome Chai. We wandered in while roaming around downtown Bend. They were very busy and did not seem to have enough help. The service was ok but not great. There is a cool antique shopping vibe going on while you wait for you coffee or tea. I liked it, but I while definitely check out other places instead of going back.

The Bluebird Coffee Company is an interesting little shop, Coffee House, gift store, just downright fun. As I've said in other reviews we like little coffee houses and this was a really nice stop. We've gone to the bakery across the street and they did not have the right espresso machine to please my coffee snob wife so we cross the street and blue bird was waiting for us. My are we glad we did. This coffee shop seems to service this entire building which has many floors & many offices, but walking in we were happy it's got quite a selection of odd little gifts comfy places to set and wireless for those who want to ship that coffee and geek out.

A nice cup of coffee located in the heart of downtown.
Bright and cheerful interior and staff. I've been in a couple of times and am always impressed with the people working the counter.
My go-to is a decaf breve. I thought it had great flavor, nice and strong the way I like it. I always feel like I'm defeating the purpose by ordering a decaf, but when the flavor is as robust as caffeinated, it helps with morale.
I will say that for not being busy the coffee took quite awhile to get out. I had time to use the restroom on the other side of the building, came back and still had to wait a couple of minutes for the coffee. Good news is that it gave me a chance to peruse the store in earnest.
Very limited selection of baked goods. They carry local treats including the Sparrow Bakery Ocean Roll and sandwiches from Rockin' Daves.
The store itself has a pretty big "housewares" selection. Lots of nice things for the kitchen, no essential items, but all pretty and nice crafted. The price tag matches. I had my eye on a green glass platter, an oversized dinner plate if you will - $110.
Pretty noisy inside. It's an acoustics issue because the place was not that busy. We had our coffee inside, but they also have tables the commons area of the building. I might chose that locale for my next cup of coffee there.
